I am committed to protecting the conservative values of my fellow Kansans. In rural Kansas, we understand that freedom is not merely a privilege but a birthright. I know this because I was raised in La Cygne, Kansas where I attended La Cygne elementary and graduated from Prairie View High School in 1981. I entered the Marine Corps a few short days later serving my 30-year career which also included serving in Desert Storm, Haiti, Iraqi Freedom, serving on embassy duty and as a Marine Drill instructor. During my time I achieved the rank of Sergeant Major and was awarded the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit. I also obtained my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the American Military University. I returned on La Cygne in 2008 and completed my Military career at Richards-Gebaur Airforce Base in Belton. Since retiring from the Marine Corps in 2011, I have opened two businesses, Semper Fi Auction Services and Bravo Realty. From 2014-2022, I had the honor of serving as the District 1 Linn County Commissioner. I did not seek reelection for a third term because, I believe there should be term limits in government at all levels. I believe in the right to bear arms, I am pro-life, I believe in a smaller government and reduced taxes. Politicians represent the people they serve, and I take that very seriously!
